Whopping StreetChance London Inter-borough Comp!

Whilst it was business as usual in Canary Wharf on Monday 24th, the capital found itself at the centre of StreetChance action. Play On Sports hosted another highly competitive inter-borough competition featuring a whopping twenty-two teams.
The highly anticipated competition saw eager teams arrive early to hone their skills and warm up ahead of the resumption of some established cricketing rivalries. After a day of clashing, bashing and smashing, Brent Buccaneers were the winners having overcome Waltham Forest in the junior final. It was Wandsworth, in only their second competition who became senior champions by defeating Hounslow.
A special note of thanks must go to the team of volunteers from Barclays Wealth who offered their services as part of the financial institution’s ‘Make a Difference Day’. Wealth employees added some fresh energy and enthusiasm to the day by entering a team into the senior competition , mentoring youngsters and snapping away with the camera, providing some great photos.
